Happy new year 2012
Amavida and all your children, we wish you a Happy New Year 2012.
We want to thank you wholeheartedly for your solidarity, your unconditional support, your trust in us. Thanks to all this year 2011 we have grown a little more and continue to take this opportunity and hope in the world.
In February, thanks to a team of Spanish doctors have been able to make a Medical Camp to nearly 400 children. Following this, we made eye checks and analysis to children who need it. Many of them already have their first pair of granny glasses!
Thanks to Food Program (Food Daily) have reduced to 2% of cases of malnutrition and other diseases related to inadequate nutrition.
The 2 small with HIV are much stronger, thanks to medication and specific diet we give them.
By order of the Indian government have separated the guesthouse of children and girls, thus providing new opportunities for 13 boys and 13 girls in critical condition.
We have new jobs to people whose entire family depended on them.
We have admitted new children at school, new opportunities.
Our workshops sewing and painting have become so popular that we have many new requests for entry. This is a big step for the Indian woman, giving her strength and security, and a bright future for “them” and their families.
But above all, we shared much love, much hope and great joy, many smiles and many dreams.
All this is thanks to you, your small – great deeds, all our grains of sand together, there are a great mountain.
We go forward together!

Amavida project
A home for more children
From the April 15 and officially inaugurated the new bungalows with. The Indian government rules made us separate the boys from the girls, but both houses are in the same building.
In total there are 12 girls and 12 boys, whose situation had reached a limit that could not sustain families.
The adaptation of them all has been amazing, and although most of them have come with malnutrition and other diseases are already being treated special, and above all, are receiving much love, love that they are also passing through its smiles, smiles of love.
Medical Camp 2011
We just finished the Amavida Medical Camp II. From Calcutta we want to thank the team of doctors, nurses and Spanish who have made this important work.
The results compared to last year have been a success. We have reduced almost to maximize the number of malnutrition and growth problems resulting from poor nutrition. Most infections among young children who come from poor hygiene and poor conditions in which they live. Otitis, eardrum perforations, worms, respiratory ailments and skin diseases have been the most frequent.
This week we especially children who have required specific attention a problem that has not been able to diagnose at first sight, making the corresponding blood tests.
From Calcutta, we want to thank all of you, because thanks to all it has been possible.
