Medical Camp 2011

We just finished the Amavida Medical Camp II. From Calcutta we want to thank the team of doctors, nurses and Spanish who have made ​​this important work.

The results compared to last year have been a success. We have reduced almost to maximize the number of malnutrition and growth problems resulting from poor nutrition. Most infections among young children who come from poor hygiene and poor conditions in which they live. Otitis, eardrum perforations, worms, respiratory ailments and skin diseases have been the most frequent.

This week we especially children who have required specific attention a problem that has not been able to diagnose at first sight, making the corresponding blood tests.

From Calcutta, we want to thank all of you, because thanks to all it has been possible.

    Gracias a Amavida por permitirnos a todos realizar este campamento, fue para nosotros( todo el equipo) una gran experiencia, nos recordó la motivación de ser personal sanitario, en España las circunstancias a veces nos hacen olvidarlo, pero sobretodo fue un orgullo ver como esos niños están SANOS y tienen un futuro mejor gracias al trabajo de Amavida y Joyjeet Das Memorial School.
